I wish I could disagree with this but I can't
1) You have to break out of your normal scheme on the def play at the end and get the ball out of their hot scorers hands
2) you have two all BIG XII caliber players besides Audi that can hit the 3 or mid- range jumper. Baylor is making you have one of them win, let them do it.
Especially when you have timeouts and a foul to give.
That's a frustrating one. We didn't really play well enough to deserve a win there.
Addy brown only scoring 2 points was the back breaker
Agreed, but the total lack of adjustments is 100% on Bill. Why did they play Brown so many minutes if she is injured and not productive? Why did we not adjust to Baylor doubling Crooks in the second half? Baylor adjusted their defense, why didn’t we have a counter?
To be honest I went back and watched it and there were WAY worse missed moving screens in the game. Check about every rescreen they attempted. Their guards are not discipolined enough to actually use a set screen a second time. Sad that we lost. Baylor deserves nothing good to happen to them pretty much forever. Just shows that their is not justice in the world.
On to the next game.

Yeah, id of went for the win with a 3. Audi wasn't securing much the second half and even if she did, barely time left to shoot
This end of clock game management is REALLY costing us, and it finally cost us a game. First half, didnt do a 2:1 at the end of half. 4th quarter, didnt use our foul to give.
That adds to the list of:
Not using foul to give against kansas
Not running out the clock in 2nd and 3rd quarter against iowa costing us 6 points.
There are others too, but thise are just top of head. Frustrating for this good of a team to have that big of mental issues. Bill isnt impressing me this year.

Sure looks like the play call was high low. 2.9 was not enough time for that and they were doubling and jumping the passes.
I expected them to single audib the last possession and switch it up. When they dont, you burn another to there. No cpunter to the clear baylor look.
