*** 2025 Week 6 (Oct. 2 - Oct. 4) CFB Games Thread ***

I TOLD YOU ALL. PENN STATE IS STILL RANKED IN THE COACHES POLL TODAY.

One spot behind us. What a crock of total **** that is just going to irritate me all ******* week. Texas is still 19.

Note that neither Texas or Penn State have a ******* power 4 win. It's not that they don't have a 'good' power 4 win. They have no power 4 win. And both have what should be considered a bad loss.
Somehow the coaches are now bigger idiots than the AP voters, and they are absolute morons!

Just on the outside though so they'll probably find an excuse to bring them back next week.

Penn State getting more votes over Utah, whose only loss is to a top 10 tech team and who crushed UCLA, is stupid

Penn St hosts Northwestern. I could see the voters putting them back in after they destroy them. Texas plays Oklahoma which could get ugly and be Texas third loss.

Penn State should not be getting any ******* votes. The whole thing is ******* insane. Hell, Kansas State has a better resume.

Bummer. @jsb and I were about to put on a riot that even VEISHEA would have been jealous.
A riot of 2 is no true riot, Sir. Thus sayeth the Iowa Code:

723.1 Riot.
A riot is three or more persons assembled together in a violent and disturbing manner, and
with any use of unlawful force or violence by them or any of them against another person, or
causing property damage. A person who willingly joins in or remains a part of a riot, knowing
or having reasonable grounds to believe that it is such, commits a class “D” felony.

They'll say it's the gauntlet, ignoring that tOSU and Oregon are the good teams.
They are good teams but how good. A 1-3 team beat Texas worse than tOSU and a team that never led this season had a bigger margin over Penn State than Oregon.

Transitive property doesn't go very far in sports so I'm not sure any of that means much either.

I don't know where tOSU or Oregon will end up but I'd put them in tier 1 of that conference so far.

Agree. But I question whether either are top 5 material.

Don’t think you want to go down the transitive property path which doesn’t work in college football really
