***2025 Week 1 (Aug 28-Sept. 1) CFB Games Thread***

TCU looks like they're playing a lot of games with different looks at the LOS after that first drive and QB UNC is having a hard time with it.

Honestly impressive for the punter to get that punt off.

The Texas schools are why the Big 12, while up and down and even this new version, will always be better than this ACC whether they keep the top brands or not.

There's just too much talent for only Texas and A&M and even letting SEC in (stupidly). Cincy can break through in same way to lesser extent with the right coach and have a few seasons like that. Just weird/rare for a massive population football hotbed state to only have one massive brand team.

TCU has a recent #2 finish and another year they probably were #1 if not getting raped by the Big Ten selection committee...yet people just overlook them. If you objectively ranked the most dangerous programs of this century they'd be in the top ten, yet no talking heads would probably admit it.

If TCU has a coach like Lane Kiffin, with all their money, I think they'd be a top 10 program.

ESPNs is sad.

1. Belichick College Edition has them creaming their pants, maybe even more than Deion last year.
2. Any chance for Big 12 loss is Christmas morning for ESPN.

Lot of game left but so far TCU is ruining ESPN's day. You'd have thought UNC had some grand football tradition the way they've been acting like TCU had no chance.

I try not to gamble but this line where they acted like UNC is Ohio State instead of the always average program they always are was sooooooooo tempting. The first few minutes were scary but this was very predictable. TCU was in the title game a couple years ago, UNC is never that good and has a new coach with an absurd amount of distractions. The media boner spotted UNC like 10 points with this line.

The other one was Iowa getting 39 points when they hardly ever score 39 and have a coach who clearly doesn't even like running up score unless his defense scores 20+. I don't care how bad Albany is, that was just a ton of points for a team that hasn't passed the ball in many years.

Big 12 needed a big win tonight.
Wish we could have gotten cincy, Baylor Colorado too but oh well,

I think asu, byu, isu, Ku, Tt, tcu, kstate, Baylor are going to be good. Couple others potentially.
Just sucks we are a one bid league .

This gets the results vs ACC and evil leagues back to neutral. Not great but not bad.

Utah looking like they could have easily won on the road vs Big Ten with 3rd stringers helped too.

Ball is in the Cyclones court next!
