At this time last year, Iowa State had one football commitment. 

After West De Pere, Wisc. offensive lineman Kory Kodanko and Raymore-Peculair, Mo. tight end Scott Schaffner pledged their commitments to Iowa State on Friday afternoon, that number for Paul Rhoads’ class of 2014 is already at seven. 

Just last night, Martinez Syria, a running back out of Houston Nimitz committed to Iowa State as well.
