Former Cyclone Bridget Carleton has earned the nickname, ‘Big Shot,’ as the 2024 WNBA season has transpired.
The Canadian standout hit another big shot on Sunday as the Minnesota Lynx opened their WNBA Playoffs with a 102-95 win over Phoenix.

Carleton finished with 12 points in the Lynx’ win, adding six rebounds and four assists while shooting 4-8 from the field.
In her sixth year in the league, Carleton has emerged as a star for the Lynx this year, playing 35 minutes during Game 1.
Minnesota will face Phoenix with a chance to advance to the semifinals Wednesday in Game 2 at 8:30 p.m. on ESPN.
