Bill Fennelly and his staff have added another piece to their 2023-24 roster.

LSU transfer Alisa Williams announced her commitment to Iowa State on Tuesday. The 6-foot-2 forward appeared in 20 games for the 2023 national champions, playing 58 total minutes and averaging 0.9 points per game.

Williams, a native of Denton, Texas, joined LSU as a freshman last season after a standout prep career at Braswell High School in which she averaged more than 17 points and seven rebounds per game as a junior and senior.

She scored 18 points and grabbed 20 rebounds during her one season with the Tigers. Williams tallied season highs with 10 points and seven rebounds while playing a season-high 18 minutes in a 107-34 win over Western Carolina on Nov. 13.

This is Iowa State’s third transfer addition of the offseason, joining Truman State guard Hannah Belanger and Sacramento State forward Isnelle Natabou.
