RECRUITING: Cyclones earn commitment from 2024 three-star linebacker

Iowa State picked up its eighth commitment of the 2024 class Tuesday, as Cael Brezina made his commitment official.

The three-star linebacker out of Illinois announced his choice over social media:

Brezina picks the Cyclones over Syracuse, Indiana, Marshall, Army, Air Force, Northern Illinois and Western Michigan.

With his commitment, Iowa State has three linebackers, already, set for the 2024 recruiting class. Brezina joins Mason Miller and Danny Inglis in the group.

Other commitments in the class include Southeast Polk quarterback Connor Moberly, safety Quentin Taylor Jr., tight end Keaton Roskop, interior offensive lineman Dontrell Holt, and defensive lineman Jace Gilbert.

Iowa State is hosting a prospect camp Tuesday night, as well. A preview of names to watch for the camp session is posted on the Cyclone Fanatic premium board.
