Iowa State earned its latest commitment to the 2024 class Wednesday night in Wisconsin prospect Carson Van Dinter.
Van Dinter, a 6-foot-3, 195-pound defensive back is the program’s ninth of the commitment of the class.
He had interest from Nebraska as well as Northern Illinois, but Iowa State moved quickly after offering him on Tuesday.
Van Dinter becomes the second defensive back committed to the class, joining safety commit Quentin Taylor Jr.
Iowa State’s Deon Broomfield served as the primary recruiter for Van Dinter.
