REPORT: Big 12 continuing push towards fall football in 2020

The Big 12’s 2020 football season apparently still lives — at least for now.

The league’s presidents have reportedly agreed to continue moving towards playing the 2020 fall season and could announce a revised scheduled as early as tonight, according to a report from Sooner Scoop.

The report has been confirmed by CF publisher Chris Williams.

This comes just hours after the Big Ten and Pac-12 announced they had canceled their fall seasons with the intention of attempting to play in the spring. The SEC and ACC still end to play this fall along with the Big 12.

The Big 12 went into their Board of Governors meeting as the swing vote in the Power 5 and apparently they’ve picked their side.
