Iowa State wide receiver Hakeem Butler has decided to declare for the NFL Draft, he tells the Des Moines Register‘s Tommy Birch.

Butler, who recorded a single-season program record 1,318 receiving yards as a junior, is projected by some as a first-round pick in April’s draft. The Baltimore, Md. native finishes his Iowa State career with 2,149 yards and 18 receiving touchdowns, good for fourth and third in program history, respectively.

He became the second Cyclone to declare for the draft on Monday after David Montgomery did so earlier.
