Iowa State offered a 2019 point guard over the weekend. Dekeyvan Tandy is a 6-foot-1 point guard out of University Heights Academy, which is located in Kentucky.

Located in Hopkinsville, University Heights Academy is only an hour outside of Murray, where Steve Prohm coached before coming to Iowa State.  This is familiar recruiting ground for Prohm and assistant coach William Small.

According to 247, Tandy has additional offers from Oklahoma, Cincinnati, Florida and Tennessee, among others.

Tandy visited Iowa State unofficially on Dec. 1, 2017.

It’s still incredibly early, but Iowa State currently has three scholarships available for its 2018 recruiting class.
