AMES, Iowa – Iowa State head football coach Matt Campbell announced today that senior WR D’Vario Montgomery and sophomore RB Joshua Thomas are no longer members of the Iowa State football team.

Montgomery has been dismissed from the team for a violation of team rules and Thomas has decided to leave the team and will transfer to another school.

Montgomery had 27 catches for 335 yards and three TDs in 2015, while Thomas rushed for 295 yards and seven TDs on 75 carries last season.
