According to a report by the Ames Tribune (that you can read by CLICKING HERE), Iowa State’s junior defensive tackle David Irving was arrested on Wednesday and was charged with domestic assault with injury and simple assault.

The Ames Tribune is also reporting that Irving was booked into the Story Country jail.

On Monday, Iowa State head coach told reporters that Irving was suffering from a non-football related injury that kept him from playing in Saturday’s loss to TCU.
