Iowa State earned its eighth commitment to the 2025 recruiting class Sunday after the first of two official visit weekends.

New Jersey wide receiver Karon Brookins made it official over social media.

The 6-foot-5, 190-pound prospect chose the Cyclones over West Virginia, Marshall, Western Michigan, Pittsburgh and Temple. Brookins visited West Virginia in January and released his top 4 in March.

Brookins, a Winslow Township High School product, joins West Des Moines Valley’s Zay Robinson as the receivers committed to the class.

The addition brings Iowa State’s class to No. 47 in the country by 247Sports.
