Iowa State guard Jeremiah Williams has reportedly entered the transfer portal.
The 6-foot-4 Chicago native originally transferred to Iowa State from Temple, but suffered a torn Achilles tendon during preseason practice last fall and never played a game for the Cyclones.
At Temple, Williams averaged 9.5 points and a team-high 4.3 assists per game. He was expected to battle with Tamin Lipsey for the starting point guard job before his injury last season.
Iowa State has added a trio of perimeter players to its 2023-24 roster over the last month in Wofford guard Jackson Paveletzke, UNLV guard Keshon Gilbert and Buffalo guard Curtis Jones.
