Ralph dismissed from football program after arrest

Iowa State has announced reserve linebacker Aidan Ralph is no longer a member of the football program.

The announcement came one day after Ralph was arrested and charged with sexual and domestic abuse stemming from an incident between Ralph and his girlfriend late last year.

According to the criminal complaint, Ralph accused his girlfriend of cheating and then shoved her multiple times, including into a set of stairs, which caused her to suffer a stress fracture in her spine. Ralph proceeded to lay on the victim and rape her.

Ralph never appeared in a game for Iowa State in two years with the program and would have been a redshirt sophomore with the program this fall.
