Cyclone fans have seen Monte Morris hit big shots while wearing cardinal and gold plenty of times, but on Wednesday the Denver point guard hit another.

Morris took a pass from Nikola Jokić to set up a game-winning 3-pointer that would give Denver the win.

Morris is averaging 12.7 points, 4.3 assists and 30 minutes per game for the Nuggets, who are squarely in a playoff spot at 33-25 thus far.

The former Cyclone will suit up for Denver again on Thursday, February 24 following the league’s all-star break.
