We’ll bring you all of the signings for Wednesday’s 2022 class here to view in one spot as each comes in throughout the day.
The class is expected to be the highest rated in school history for Iowa State, capitalizing on a 2020 season that brought it a Fiesta Bowl victory.
Cartevious Norton is the first player of the 2022 class to sign with the team. The 5-foot-11, 210-pound running back joins Iowa State over Georgia State and Northern Illinois, among others. He’s a three-star recruit according to 247Sports.
James Neal became the second player to sign with the class as a three-star prospect coming out of Independence CC and playing JUCO ball.

It might not be recognized by the regular recruiting sites, but Iowa State has a five-star athlete in Tyler Perkins.
He graded out as a five-star and was rated as the No. 6 punter in the 2022 class by Kohls Kicking Camps and No. 4 punter by 247 Sports. Perkins looks to join the Cyclones and stabilize the special teams unit.
A plethora of signings came in to kick off the 7:00 hour with the first being an Iowa native out of Harlan in Will McLaughlin.
As a three-star linebacker prospect with a 6-foot-3, 220-pound frame, McLaughlin comes in ranked as the No. 6 prospect in the state of Iowa.
Jacob Imming is the second linebacker to sign with the 2022 class, committing to Iowa State from Sergeant Bluff-Luton High School.
Imming is one spot higher than McLaughlin, slotting in at No. 5 in the state via 247 Sports.
Domonique Orange made a loud commitment to Iowa State on Tuesday, throwing an Ohio State hat over his shoulder during his announcement ceremony.
The 6-foot-4, 300-pound offensive tackle chose Iowa State over OSU, Texas A&M and Oregon, making things official on Wednesday.
Jason Essex will come to Iowa State over the off-season and try to bring in some needed help to the receiving room.
The three-star prospect out of Kansas City stands at 6-foot-3 and weighs in at 192 pounds. He chose Iowa State over Iowa, Nebraska, and Oklahoma State among others.
Hunter Deyo signs officially as the highest rated recruit in the 2022 class.
The 6-foot-3, 270-pound defensive lineman joins the Cyclones from Council Bluffs and grades out on 247 Sports as a .9018 on the site’s composite rankings.
Ikenna Ezeogu has made it official for the Cyclones. He’s the first of two Blue Springs High School teammates to commit sign with Iowa State.
Nicknamed Ike, Ezeogu stands at 6-foot-6, 220 pounds and will look to help the team as an edge rusher.
Carson Willich officially sends in his own letter of intent following his teammate in Ezeogu.

The first and only recruit of the class from Texas signs in Jeremiah Cooper out of El Paso.
The 5-foot-11, 170-pounder is slated to play safety for the Cyclones.
The lone quarterback in Iowa State’s 2022 class – Rocco Becht becomes the 15th signee of the day for the Cyclones.
Becht is a 6-foot-1 190-pounder out of Florida that chose Iowa State over Ole Miss, West Virginia, Wake Forest, and Harvard among others:
Quaron Adams is the 16th signee of the day for the Cyclones and one of two running backs in the 2022 class.
He’ll help the Cyclones on the ground from a 5-foot-8, 150-pound frame and chose Iowa State over Cal, Arizona State, and Oregon.
Gabe Burkle commits from in-state out of Cedar Rapids Prairie High School as a 6-foot-7, 240-pound tight end.
The size brought him offers from Indiana, Kansas State, and Michigan State among others.
Trevon Howard added his name to the list of today’s signings.
He becomes the 18th signee of the 2022 class as a 6-foot-1 safety out of IMG Academy.
Terrell Crosby has sent in his NLI, becoming the 19th player to sign with the 2022 class today.
Crosby will play cornerback for the Cyclones.
Greg Gaines made his commitment official this afternoon. The 6-foot-2, four-star wideout is Iowa State’s final high school signee of the day.
Gaines is Iowa State’s highest rated skill position player.
Iowa State also made official the signing of Minnesota transfer M.J. Anderson.
Anderson is a 6-foot-3, 285-pound defensive lineman.
Iowa State coach Matt Campbell will meet with the media on Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. to discuss the class.
