The Jones, Okla. prospect rated as the No. 97 wide receiver in the country and No. 8 prospect in Oklahoma, by 247Composite, chose the Cyclones over offers from Kansas, SMU, Wyoming and Southern Illinois.

He has reportedly drawn some interest from Oklahoma. Shaw officially visited Ames for Iowa State’s season-opening win over Northern Iowa.

He is the highest rated commit in Iowa State’s 2018 class, surpassing California quarterback Re-al Mitchell. He joins Allen, Texas receiver Carson Schleker as pass catchers in the class.

Iowa State has 15 commits in its 2018 recruiting class.
