Iowa State earned another commitment to its 2027 recruiting class in Waukee Northwest 3-star TE Joe Vinyard.

The 6-foot-5, 220-pound Waukee, Iowa native is the seventh commitment to Jimmy Rogers’ 2027 class and the third commitment out of the state of Iowa, joining OL Will Slagle (4-star) and RB Isaiah Hansen (3-star).

Vinyard held offers from Baylor, Washington State, Air Force, Army, Liberty, Navy, Northern Illinois, Ohio, Toledo, UConn, Western Michigan, Dartmouth, North Dakota, South Dakota, South Dakota State, Princeton, and Yale.

Vinyard has locked in an official visit to Iowa State from May 28-30.
