RECRUITING: Iowa State offers 2025 forward Braden Frager

Iowa State has extended an offer to another priority target in the 2025 class.

Lincoln, Neb. forward Braden Frager picked up an offer from Iowa State on Sunday. The 6-foot-6 Lincoln Southwest prep took an unofficial visit to Ames earlier this week and was among the targets T.J. Otzelberger watched this weekend in Kansas City.

“[The visit] was really good,” Frager told Cyclone Fanatic on Friday. “I really liked the players and coaches a lot. It was a nice campus. Just really liked it down there.”

Frager is Iowa State’s fourth offer in the 2025 recruiting cycle, joining West Des Moines guard Curtis Stinson Jr., Omaha forward Amare Bynum and Milwaukee center Kai Rogers.

Kyle Green has been Frager’s primary recruiter. Frager, who also holds offers from Nebraska, Creighton and Northwestern, stands out for his length, ability to attack the basket and catch-and-shoot ability from deep.

“I’m an aggressive player, who can get downhill, finish through contact and play with an edge, but can also step out and hit catch and shoot threes,” Frager said.
