Former Iowa State star Deonte Burton has signed a 10-day contract with the NBA’s Sacramento Kings.

The contract begins Monday, January 30 and will allow Burton to be eligible for the Kings’ game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The contract runs through Wednesday, February 8 and includes six games.

Burton has played 14 games for the team’s G-League organization, averaging a career high 54.5% field goal percentage. Averaging over 38 minutes per game, Burton has also recorded a +9.4 plus/minus.

Burton joins Tyrese Haliburton, Georges Niang, Monte Morris and Taylen Horton-Tucker as former Cyclones to play NBA regular season games in the 2022-23 season.
