WATCH: New Iowa State commit Nojus Indrusaitis has lengthy highlight tapes

Iowa State earned a commitment from top 100 2024 prospect Nojus Indrusaitis on Thursday morning, marking the first commit to the class.

Ranked as the No. 77 overall player in the class by 247 Sports, Indrusaitis brings a 6-foot-5, versatile frame to the Cyclones.

Indrusaitis, a Lithuanian native, helped lead his country to a gold medal in the 2022 FIBA U16 European championships.

He led the team in scoring and landed an all-tournament selection in route to the title.

Indrusaitis took an official visit to Ames last weekend and chose Iowa State over offers from Iowa, Xavier, Nebraska, Illinois, Marquette, DePaul, Maryland and Missouri.

Since taking over at Iowa State, coach T.J. Otzelberger has recruited nine players that committed. Indrusaitis becomes the fourth top 100 prospect, and seventh top 150 commit in the Otzelberger era.
