Iowa State football saw another player hit the transfer portal Wednesday in defensive back D.J. Miller Jr.

During his three seasons with the Cyclones, Miller Jr. landed on Big 12 All-Academic teams in each year.

In his freshman season, Miller Jr. was one of just three true freshman that didn’t redshirt, playing in 11 games and collecting nine tackles on the year, three pass breakups, a fumble recovery and a forced fumble.

Miller Jr. appeared in 12 games during the 2020 season and played in five games last year before suffering a season-ending injury.
