WBB: Cyclones No. 13 in latest AP Poll

After dropping a pair of games this week, the Iowa State women’s basketball team stayed in the top 15, coming in at No. 13 in the latest AP Poll.

Coach Bill Fennelly’s squad suffered a short-handed loss to Texas and then saw its game against Baylor get away in Waco on Sunday afternoon.

Iowa State is now ranked No. 13 right behind the three teams that have beaten the Cyclones in No. 12 LSU, No. 11 Texas, and No. 9 Baylor.

Both No. 18 Oklahoma and No. 25 Kansas State appear in the rankings, making it five Big 12 teams that are included inside the top 25. Kansas received one vote as well.

Iowa State will take on the Jayhawks this Wednesday at Hilton Coliseum before traveling to Texas Tech for a road matchup on Saturday.
