David Montgomery is off to the NFL, but Cincinatti’s Miyan Williams will hopefully someday fill his shoes. Williams, a 5-foot-10, 210-pound runner out of Winton Woods High School made his pledge to Iowa State on the evening of July 4th.

Williams chose Iowa State primarily over Cincinatti, Purdue, Boston College, Kentucky and Kansas.

Iowa State now has 15 known commitments in its 2020 class. Williams is the only running back. According to 247 Sports, the class is currently ranked 34th nationally.
