Now former Iowa State running back David Montgomery made things official on Monday morning when he tweeted his intentions to enter the 2019 NFL Draft.

Montgomery, who ran for 1,216 yards and 13 touchdowns as a junior, is projected to be one of the first three running backs taken in April’s draft.

Montgomery ends his career at Iowa State with 2,926 rushing yards and 26 touchdowns.

He posted the following message to Cyclone fans on his social media platforms.
