Iowa State has landed a commitment from West Des Moines, Valley offensive lineman Jake Remsburg. The 6-foot-6, 293-pound class of 2019 prospect announced his commitment on Twitter Monday morning.
Remsburg has taken multiple unofficial visits to Ames since landing a scholarship offer from Iowa State on Sept. 29. He attended four Cyclone home games this season and was in Ames for last Thursday’s men’s basketball win over Iowa.
Remsburg, who is Iowa State’s first commit in the 2019 class, chose the Cyclones over interest from Iowa and Kansas. He also took an unofficial visit to Notre Dame last month.
