RECRUITING: Iowa State lands commitment from Wisconsin linebacker

Iowa State has landed a commitment from Wisconsin linebacker Chandler Pulvermacher, according to the 6-foot-2, 190-pound prospect’s Twitter account. The Arrowhead High School product was previously committed to FCS powerhouse North Dakota State.

Pulvermacher chose the Cyclones over offers from the Bison, Western Illinois, South Dakota, Cornell and Indiana State. Members of the Iowa State staff did an in-home visit with him earlier this week.

Iowa State now has 18 commits in the 2018 class with three of them being linebackers. Pulvermacher joins Ohio prospect Michael Rose and Georgia three-star Gerry Vaughn as true linebacker prospects joining Tyson Viedt‘s room next season.

The Cyclones’ class is currently ranked as the No. 54 class in the country and No. 8 class in the Big 12 with the early signing period starting later this month. Stay tuned to Cyclone Fanatic for more on this story.
