Awesome news for former Cyclone Abdel Nader. He is officially a member of the Boston Celtics.

Nader, 23, was the NBA D-League’s Rookie of the Year in 2016-17 where he averaged 21.3 points, 6.2 rebounds and 3.9 assists per contest. Nader, the 58th pick in last year’s NBA Draft, has had an impressive Summer League and was rewarded for it on Friday.

Nader will also benefit from a recent Celtics trade that shipped Avery Bradley to Detroit. He’s relatively cheap and the Celtics had an opening in the backcourt.

Nader’s deal is for four-years and $6 million.
