The sirens won’t stop sounding on this Sunday afternoon.

Iowa State has picked up their second commitment of the day in Butler County Community College defensive back Octavious Morgan. The 6-foot, 200 pound, prospect took a visit to Ames over the weekend.

He chose the Cyclones over offers from Baylor, Kansas State, Arkansas, Louisville, West Virginia and a handful of others.

He was the Cyclones’ second commit of the day after Georgia offensive lineman Caleb Chandler. He’s the Cyclones’ 12th commit of the class of 2017 and the second defensive back joining Michigan cornerback Richard Bowens III.

The two commitments have moved the Cyclones up to No. 30 in Scout’s class rankings and No. 34 according to 247.

Stay tuned to Cyclone Fanatic for more on both of these commitments this afternoon.
