A reinforcement along the defensive line will be coming for Iowa State much sooner than expected. Golden West College defensive end Justin Stewart has committed to Iowa State, according to AllCyclones.com’s Alex Halsted.
The 6-foot-3-inch, 230 pound, prospect’s highlight tape leaves you wondering how he only has listed offers from New Mexico and Iowa State. He fires off the ball and appears to run past blockers at will.
He’ll be eligible to play right away this season for Iowa State and could be a much welcomed addition off the edge. He’ll have two years to play two seasons after graduating from junior college next week.
Stay tuned to Cyclone Fanatic for more on Stewart’s commitment.
