Not long after Matt Campbell’s staff picked up a big commitment for the class of 2017, their roster for the upcoming season took a hit.
Rhode Island graduate transfer offensive lineman Tyler Catalina tweeted his decommitment from Iowa State on Monday afternoon after being committed to the Cyclones since December. He announced he will play out his final season of eligibility at Georgia.
Catalina would’ve been a starter on the offensive line from the moment he stepped on campus if he had followed through with is commitment to Iowa State. Instead, Campbell and his staff will have an even bigger challenge to replace most of the starters along the front.
