So much for a holiday break.
New Iowa State football coach Matt Campbell and his staff continued their rapid-fire recruiting efforts Wednesday, drumming up a commitment from high-end JUCO cornerback, Lonnie Johnson.
Johnson, a three-star recruit according to Scout.com, stands 6-3 and weighs 205 pounds according to the Garden City (Kan.) Community College website.
According to Alex Halsted of Scout.com, Johnson (who hails from Gary, Ind.) originally committed to Ohio State out of high school, but eventually went the JUCO route.
