For the second weekend in a row, Iowa State has received a verbal commitment from a junior college offensive lineman.
According to 247Sports.com, Karson Green of Northeastern Oklahoma A&M J.C. has committed to Matt Campbell. That lines up with the following tweets that Iowa State’s head coach sent out shortly before 9 a.m.
According to his profile at Rivals.com, Green has additional offers from: Middle Tennessee State, New Mexico, Akron, East Carolina, Florida Atlantic and UTSA. He’s originally from Miami, Okla.
Green is listed as a 6-foot-5, 290-pound offensive tackle.
We’ll have a complete recap of Iowa State’s major recruiting weekend late tonight or on Monday.
My guess is that more commitments will come later today.
