Florida O-lineman commits to ISU

Mike Smith Jr., an offensive lineman from Frostproof, Fla., has committed to Iowa State, according to a source.

 Smith (6-3, 270) is a two-star prospect, according to Scout.com.

He reportedly had committed to Georgia Southern in August, but took an official visit to Ames for last weekend’s 35-31 loss to Oklahoma State and apparently was impressed.
