Cyclones stay in both top 25’s

Despite dropping its first game of the young season last week in Kansas City, Iowa State (3-1) maintained its spot in the AP and USA Today top 25’s that were released on Monday.

The Cyclones suffered a 72-63 loss to Maryland last Tuesday night in the CBE Hall of Fame Classic and defeated Alabama 84-74 on Monday.

Iowa State will host Lamar on Tuesday night at 7 (Cyclones.tv) before a showdown with Arkansas on Thursday (8 p.m. on ESPN2). The Razorbacks (6-0) are ranked 18th (AP) and 21st (USA Today) in this week’s polls.
