Projecting what Iowa State’s depth chart will look like come fall camp this spring is, uh, well, a very difficult thing to do. But I tried. Here’s a look at our post-spring projections with a few notes:
1 – I believe that Alton Meeks is currently Iowa State’s No. 1 MLB but am projecting Jordan Harris to eventually win the job in the fall. Meeks will still play a lot though.
2 – I think you’ll see more 3-4 out of the Cyclones based off of the attrition at defensive tackle.
3 – I have no clue what to expect from the three JUCO defensive linemen coming in this summer. I’m guessing that Dale Pierson will beat out Darius White eventually to back up Cory Morrissey though.
4 – Finding a spot for Allen Lazard was difficult but in my opinion, there’s no way he doesn’t play as a true freshman.
