The best running back in Iowa State history has been nominated for the College Football Hall of Fame. Of course, Troy Davis is that man.
Davis, a two-time All-American, was the 1996 Big 8 Player of the Year. Davis was a two-time Heisman Trophy finalist and the first player in NCAA history to rush for more than 2,000 yards in two seasons. Davis was selected in the third round of the 1997 NFL Draft by the New Orleans Saints.
