The linebackers took center stage at the NFL Combine on Monday. Of course, former Cyclone Jeremiah George was in attendance to show what he could do.
According to a tweet by Zack Spears, George "tweaked" a hamstring during one of his 40-yard dash attempts and did not finish all of his drills. But the Big 12’s leading tackler in 2013 did get a good chunk of work done.
The highlight from George’s day was a bench press number of 28, which tied for the second highest number of reps of all linebacker participants.
40-yard dash: 4.91
Vertical jump: 33.0 inches
Broad jump: 116.0 inches
George weighed in at 5-foot-11, 234-pounds.
According to NFL.com, George graded out at a 5.18, which lands him in the "better-than-average chance to make an NFL roster" category.
