AMES — Iowa State improved to 20-5 (8-5) on Tuesday night with an 85-76 victory over Texas (20-6, 9-4). Melvin Ejim scored 25 points with eight rebounds while Georges Niang contributed 20 in the win.

Jared a native of Clarinda, Iowa, started as the Cyclone Fanatic intern in August 2013, primarily working as a videographer until starting on the women’s basketball beat prior to the 2014-15 season.
