Things just got worse.
According to a recent report from Tommy BIrch over at the Des Moines Register, Iowa State’s redshirt freshman linebacker Luke Knott might be out for the season with a hip/groin injury that forced him to miss Saturday’s 58-27 loss to Oklahoma State.
In addition to the news about Knott, Paul Rhoads also confirmed on Tuesday night that starting running back Aaron Wimberly will likely miss Saturday’s road trip to Kansas State with a hamstring injury.
What’s it all mean?
Junior Jevohn Miller will likely start for Knott at WILL linebacker.
According to playing time last Saturday, Shontrelle Johnson and DeVondrick Nealy should see the majority of the snaps at running back for the Cyclones.
