It’s now official.
Iowa State’s tight ends coach Luke Wells is leaving Ames to become a co-offensive coordinator, recruiting coordinator and tight ends coach at Utah State. Wells’ brother, Matt Wells, was recently named as Utah State’s new head coach.
Wells was originally hired as a wide receivers coach on Paul Rhoads’ original staff at Iowa State. He coached wide receivers for two seasons and tight ends for two as well.
