Rodney Coe is a Cyclone.

The 6-foot-3, 290-pound defensive end out of Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs officially visited and committed to Iowa State over the weekend.

"ALL IN baby, officially a cyclone with @Ali_HighNET excited about it #cyclONEnation"

Coe posted that on his Twitter account a little after 9 on Sunday morning. @Ali_HighNET is the account of Aaron Wimberly, another Iowa Western prospect, who committed to Paul Rhoads’ program over the summer.

Coe verbally committed to the University of Iowa as a running back two years ago, before going the JUCO route. At that time, the Edwardsville, (Ill.) athlete was a 4-star prospect with offers from the likes of: Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Kansas, Kansas State, Michigan State, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Oregon, Syracuse, Tennessee, USC and Wisconsin.

Since then, Coe has added 60 pounds to his frame and transformed from a running back into a defensive end.

We’ll have more on this story later on in the week at CycloneFanatic.com
