According to multiple news outlets across the state of Iowa, former Cyclone football commitment Barkley Hill is now an Iowa Hawkeye.
HawkeyeReport.com and KCNZ 1650 AM were first to report the news that Hill, a running back out of Cedar Falls switched his commitment from Iowa State to Iowa.
CHRIS’ TAKE: One can only imagine that Iowa State’s program depth at running back compared to Iowa’s had something to do with this decision. Iowa recently lost two running backs while Iowa State has four runners with Big 12 experience coming back in 2012. That’s not to mention two freshmen who will be coming off of redshirt seasons.
