Stephens makes cut, Sage traded

By Chris Williams, CycloneFanatic.com Publisher

The past 24 hours have been active for a couple of former Cyclones.

I’ll start with the good news.

Former Iowa State center Reggie Stephens made the 53-man roster cut for the Cincinnati Bengals today. CLICK HERE to read about it. Stephens was a seventh-round pick by the Bengals during last spring’s NFL Draft.

In other news, the Minnesota Vikings traded former Cyclone quarterback Sage Rosenfels to the New York Giants on Friday night. CLICK HERE for more.

In one other note, former Iowa State wide receiver Marquis Hamilton was cut by the Minnesota Vikings earlier today.
