This weekend has turned into a somewhat important weekend for the Iowa State men’s basketball program on the recruiting circuit.
Chasson Randle, a 2011 guard prospect out of Rock Island, Ill. is on campus for an unofficial visit.
A 2013 prospect made the trip north as well. That’s Des Moines Roosevelt’s Peter Jok. Jok of course is in Ames on an unofficial visit.
In one more basketball recruiting note, 2010 JUCO prospect John Wilkins was supposed to make the trip this weekend but could not come in the last minute. Wilkins is a 6-foot-9, 215-pound power forward, who is currently attending Southeastern Community College in Iowa.
