The Iowa State women’s basketball team learned their NCAA Tournament fate on Monday night. The Cyclones got a four-seed in the Dayton region where they will take on Lehigh (13) on Sunday night at 8:30 inside of Hilton Coliseum.
Should the Cyclones defeat Lehigh in the first round, the winner of Virginia and Wisconsin-Green Bay will be waiting in round number two.
The bad news is that should Iowa State make the Sweet 16, they will likely see unbeaten UCONN at that point in time. We’ll have more on Iowa State’s pairing later on tonight and tomorrow here at CycloneFanatic.com.
