Iowa State’s momentum on the recruiting trail continues with the commitment of 2027 three-star wide receiver Blake Moser.

The 6-foot-0, 180 pound dual-threat quarterback from Lake Stevens, Washington was offered as a wide receiver, a position that he’s played sparingly in high school. According to The Journal425, Moser worked out as a quarterback, wide receiver and defensive back during his visit to Ames.

As a junior in 2025, Moser led Lake Stevens to the 4A state title game as a quarterback, compiling 2,612 passing yards and 39 touchdowns while rushing for 850 yards and 16 touchdowns.

Moser’s is rated as the No. 19 player in Washington by On3Sports. His other offers prior to his Iowa State visit earlier visit are from Idaho, Montana, Portland State and Northern Arizona.

Jimmy Rogers now has 14 commits in the class of 2027.
