AMES — Senior Day always brings emotion. Sunday brought a team win to go with it.

Iowa State defeated Missouri 20–14 in a dual that featured tight matches, momentum swings and one final heavyweight moment inside Hilton Coliseum.

Afterward, Yonger Bastida described wrestling through the weight of knowing it was his last time in that arena. Vinny Zerban shared how he intentionally blocked out those emotions to stay focused. Kevin Dresser broke down the growth of his senior class and highlighted both the bright spots and areas still needing refinement as March approaches. Plus, an update on Isaac Dean’s absence and the process into why the match started at 197 pounds.
